PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate base-material replenishing work and enhance replenishment workability, by enabling a block body to be filled with a base material as a net-like body is mounted without being attached/detached one by one, in case the base material flows out. SOLUTION: This greening block for revetment is equipped with the concrete block body 1, and the net-like body 20 which is laid on the upper end of the side wall 3 of the block body 1. The many block bodies 1 are continuously laid on an inclined slope, and the inside of the block body 1, which is formed in such a box shape as to have a bottom wall 2 with a through-hole 8 and the side wall 3 with an opening 4 formed on an upside, serves as a storage space 5 for storing the base material W wherein plants can be grown. The net-like body 20 is formed in such a size as to form an open port 21 which opens the opening 4, positioned on the upper side of the inclination of the slope, among the openings 4 of the block body 1.
