PERSON RECOGNITION SYSTEM, PERSON RECOGNIZING METHOD AND PERSON RECOGNITION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate person recognition result by correcting a recognition result even if one and the same person is erroneously recognized as a plurality of persons different from one another.

SOLUTION: This person recognition system for recognizing persons included in a plurality of images is provided with: a person recognizing part for recognizing a plurality of persons included in the plurality of images about each of the plurality of images; an intimacy degree calculating part for calculating the degree of intimacy among respective persons included in at least one portion of images among the plurality of images on the basis of a recognition result; a determining part for determining whether a difference in the degree of intimacy to one person about each of the plurality of persons recognized as persons different from one another is not higher than a predetermined reference value; and a correcting part for determining that the plurality of persons are one and the same person when the difference in the degree of intimacy to one person in each of the plurality of persons is determined not to be higher than the predetermined reference value and correcting the recognition result by the person recognizing part.
