<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a person less attuned to operation to simply operate a dimmer and a dimming system, in a dimmer for dimming and controlling a plurality of luminaires connected to it and a dimming system provided with the dimmer. <P>SOLUTION: This dimmer 1 is provided with: pattern switches SW selectively operated in regenerating a predetermined illumination pattern; and an arithmetic processing part 3 for dimming and controlling luminaires based on the selectively operated pattern switches SW; and the plurality of luminaires are connected by dividing them into two circuits. Since the illumination pattern is regenerated by controlling the dimming levels of the plurality of luminaires connected by being divided into two circuits based on the selectively operated pattern switches SW, a user can regenerate a predetermined pattern by operating only the pattern switches SW without individually operating the plurality of luminaires. In addition, since the plurality of luminaires are controlled by consolidating them into the two circuits, the number of switches can be reduced and the dimmer can be simply operated without hesitation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
