<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination apparatus irradiating the light in a direction of just under the apparatus in case of mounted on a slanted ceiling, capable of flexibly corresponding to the angle of the slanted ceiling, restraining the glare, not spoiling its external appearance. <P>SOLUTION: A cylinder shaped frame body 1 of the illumination apparatus, having a lower opening 4 and an upper opening 5 as both end parts, is inserted into a recessed hole 21 of the slanted ceiling 7. A lighting fixture 2 has lamps 10 arranged on the upside of the frame body 1 with a prescribed distance, and an axis 13 located near to the upper opening, rotation movement freely holding the lamps 10 in a vertical plane including slanting direction of the slanted ceiling 7. An apparatus main body 3 is mounted on the slanted ceiling 7 and holds the frame body 1 and the axis 13. The frame body 1, having the upper opening 5 smaller than the lower opening 4, is formed into a shape widening from the upper opening 5 toward the lower opening 4, The upper opening 5 is slanted against the lower opening 4, and slanting direction of the upper opening is reversed to the slanting direction of the slanted ceiling 7 against a horizontal plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
