PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the pipe properties of a composite pipe by forming a tubular resin having an adhesive layer on its outer surface by the coextrusion from an extruder 1 to pass the extruded tubular resin through a cooling water tank 2, which has a forming tube 3 provided to its inlet, through the forming tube 3 and surrounding the tubular resin with the outer surface adhesive layer, which is issued from the cooling water tank 2, by a metal strip 5 to strongly perform the adhesion of the outer surface adhesive layer and the metal outer layer in a case that the butted places of both edges in the width direction of the metal strip are welded. SOLUTION: The forming tube having an uneven outer surface is used to widen the radiation area of the forming tube to suppress heat accumulation, and the increase in the sticking force of the adhesive layer accompanied by the suppressing of heat accumulation is reduced to smoothly pass the tubular resin with the outer surface adhesive layer. As a result, the irregularity of the outer diameter of the adhesive layer can be reduced as compared with a case using a forming tube having a smooth outer surface and the occurrence of a gap at the composite interface of the adhesive layer and the metal layer can be well prevented to perform satisfactory adhesion.
