<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide oily smoke and odor removing system which removes most of oily smoke and odor generated at a cookroom. <P>SOLUTION: The oily smoke and odor removing system comprises storing a special liquid 52 with a pH of 6.0-7.5 in an oily smoke and odor removing apparatus 50 to which the negative pressure generated by the actuation of a fan 32 is affected, wherein the special liquid is prepared by mixing sodium hypochlorite and an acid such as hydrogen chloride, acetic acid and the like with water, and passing the air containing oily smoke and odor through the special liquid 52. Then, the special liquid 52 is jetted through a jetting nozzle 62 to the air passing an exhaust duct 56 which resides in the lower stream of the fan 32. Consequently, about 94% of oily smoke and odor is removed from the air discharged from the exhaust port 54 of the exhaust duct 56. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
