<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus wherein a residual potential on the surface of a photoreceptor drum is efficiently removed by preventing a mutual interference between the photoreceptor drum and a destaticizing part equipped with a light guide in attaching/detaching a photoreceptor cartridge, and arranging the light guide so that it may adjacently face the photoreceptor drum, then, a good image can be formed. <P>SOLUTION: The destaticizing part 19 equipped with the light guide is fixedly supported by a member for separating/attaching a transfer belt 53 from/to the photoreceptor drum 21. Thus, the destaticizing part 19 equipped with the light guide is separated from the photoreceptor drum 21 in accordance with the separation of the transfer belt 53 from the photoreceptor drum 21 in detaching the photoreceptor cartridge, then, the mutual interference between the photoreceptor drum 21 and the light guide is prevented, and the photoreceptor drum and the light guide can be arranged opposite to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
