PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge storing a bag-like ink container which has a small residual amount of ink, is durable to falling down during transportation and handling process, and to vibration or the like during transportation, houses a bag like ink container having an ink delivering part and an ink storing part, and reduces waste materials after use to reduce the load to the environment. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge stores the ink container having the ink delivering part and the ink storing part in an outer box prepared of a cylindrical double-sided corrugated fiberboard having a rectangular bottom part and a top face. The ink cartridge is characterized by that the outer box is prepared by folding a developed base sheet punched by a punching die from a sheet of the double-sided corrugated board along folding lines and by piling one upon another so that the direction of the flute of the double-sided corrugated fiberboard becomes in parallel to the short side of the top face, and the position of the ink delivering part is regulated by a position regulating member provided inside the outer box, and the ink storing part is stored as it remains protected with the protecting member.
