Thermally stable forming- and spinning solution comprises cellulose, water-containing tertiary amineoxide, non-solvent, and at least a stabilizer (substance from formaldehyde and cyclic aliphatic amine) (at least 0.01 wt.%). An independent claim is included for a procedure for thermal stabilization of forming- and spinning solutions comprising adding the stabilizer to the solution.
