The machine (1), in which pieces to be shaped are loaded into dies (6) for moulding in a hydroforming post (3), has the post frame connected to two loading and preforming stations (2) that face one another on either side of the hydroforming post. Each of the stations consists of a table (4) with parallel rails (5) supporting a die unit with two halfshells (9, 10), power cylinders (11) to deliver water at very high pressure, and a transfer structure (7) that delivers the unit to the hydroforming post and back.
