IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an image forming apparatus which forms a high quality image at high speed by sufficiently reducing worm-shaped image irregularities even in the high-speed developing operation to develop an image by moving an electrostatic latent image bearing member at high speed.

SOLUTION: When it is assumed that the frequency of the AC component of developing bias voltage is f(kHz) and the linear velocity of the latent image bearing member is vp(mm/sc), the developing is performed under a condition satisfying vp/f≤70.
