<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for plasma thermal spraying in which the types of spray guns and/or the same type or different type of supply units are to be replaceable and the remarkably high degree of freedom concerning the types of the spray guns and usable thermal spraying methods is guaranteed. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for thermal spraying 1 includes a spray gun 2 with a burner 3, wherein an operating media 5 can be supplied to the spray gun 2 via a feed line 4, and a base part 6 which is in communication with a supply unit 8 for the operating medium 5 via a supply line 7.
