<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device whose reflectance is improved by uniformizing slopes of a projecting and recessing pattern of a reflection plate, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The display device utilizes incident light for a display by making it reflected with the reflection plate 23 formed on a substrate 10, and has: the substrate 10 with a first region Ar1 and a second region Ar2 having a difference of elevation or a difference of reflectance between them; a photosensitive organic insulating film 20 formed on the substrate 10 and having the projecting and recessing pattern 20a whose density in the first region Ar1 and that in the second region Ar2 are different from each other; and the reflection plate 23 formed on the upper layer of the organic insulating film 20 and having surface protrusions and recessions 23a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
