PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a run flat tire capable of reducing tire mass, capable of reducing rolling resistance, and capable of improving comfortableness, while maintaining bead slipping-out performance and partial abrasion resistant performance. SOLUTION: This run flat tire has reinforcing rubber layers 9a and 9b arranged in a sidewall part; and has an annular swelling part 10 arranged outside in the tire width direction of a bead part 1 arranged outside a vehicle and having an inner peripheral side surface 11 opposed to a curved surface on the outer peripheral side of a rim flange when installing a specified rim, and an annular second bead 1b arranged in its annular swelling part 10; and is characterized in that the reinforcing rubber layer 9a arranged outside the vehicle is formed in rubber hardness of 60 to 82°, and the reinforcing rubber layer 9b arranged inside the vehicle is formed in rubber hardness of 65 to 90°, and the reinforcing rubber layer 9b arranged inside the vehicle is formed equal to or more than that in the rubber hardness from the outside of the vehicle, and the maximum thickness is formed larger than 0.5 mm or more.
