PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for carrying out a product from a forging press, the method and the apparatus for discharging burr and transporting only the product without arranging a switchable guide means. SOLUTION: The product S produced by the forging press 1 and the burr B separated at the forging time, are alternately carried out by a transfer-feeder 2 and the carried out product S and burr B are released at a prescribed position and the product S is loaded on a product transport conveyor 10 arranged at the downstream side and transported, and the burr B is discharged outside the system by a burr discharge means. In the product transport conveyor 10, product loading parts 12 on which the product S is loaded are arranged at a prescribed interval along the transport direction, and a space 13 between the adjacent product loading parts 12 and 12 is formed, and therefore the product S released at the prescribed position is loaded on the product loading parts 12 and transported, and the burr B is passed through the space 13 which appears below the prescribed position due to the shifting of the product loading part 12 at the prescribed interval and the burr B is discharged by the burr discharge means.
