FIELD: horticulture, in particular, equipment for soil mellowing in agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: mellower has shank, bayonet part with holder and supporting platform pivotally connected with shank. Crusher attached to supporting platform is made similar to fork, and pivot joint is spaced by equal distance from supporting surfaces of crusher and bayonet part. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency in soil mellowing, substantial reduction in labor intensity due to reduced number of operations, working without necessity for bending of worker's body and raising of spade with soil and spade free of soil during mellowing thereof. ^ 3 cl, 8 dwg
