PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expelling agent capable of being spread on a body surface of an animal and then closely coming into contact with the surface in a wide surface area, when applied to the body surface of the animal, and therefore capable of effectively expelling an animal ectoparasite. SOLUTION: This animal ectoparasite expelling agent contains an animal ectoparasite expelling substance and a silicone. A content the silicone depends on a kind of the silicone, but it is preferable that the silicone is contained in the expelling agent in an amount of 0.01-50.0 wt%.
