PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connector whose shielding function degradation is suppressed. SOLUTION: When a restricting groove 29 (a fitting error restricting portion) is formed in the peripheral face of a fitting space 17, a cutout portion should be formed in a first shield shell 26 corresponding to the restricting groove 29 to be fitted to a protrusion 37 (a fitting error restricting portion) of a second housing 31. However, as the restricting groove 29 is arranged corresponding to a slit 27 and the slit 27 to be a means for avoiding interference with a connection rib 16 is served also as the cutout portion so that the protrusion 37 and the restricting groove 29 can be fitted to each other, the cutout portion need not be formed separately from the slit 27. Thus, the shielding function degradation due to the first shield shell 26 is suppressed without increasing the leak-out passage of noises in the first shield shell 26. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
