The switchover ratchet includes a ratchet head (10), a clutch (20), a switchover latch (30), a switch (40) a clamping cylinder (50), a ring plate (61) and a fixing ring (62). Two biasing devices (42) arranged between the switch and the clamping cylinder can be pressed into an opening (41) when the switchover latch is pressed into the clutch. Depending on which of the two biasing devices is pressed into the opening on the switch, the other biasing device can move the clamping cylinder and fix it at a point, thereby defining the rotation direction of the ratchet head.
