<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vision improvement support device capable of improving the vision of a vehicle driver by means of stochastic resonance (SR). <P>SOLUTION: The vision improvement support device 1 includes a noise generating part 11 for generating visual noise with the most suitable noise intensity that is set according to a threshold of visible noise intensity; a noise output part 12 capable of swinging within a predetermined range to output the visible noise generated by the noise generating part 11; and a drive control part 13 for controlling the drive of the noise output part 12. The noise output part 12 outputs the visible noise while swinging within the predetermined range according to the control of the drive control part 13, thereby applying the visible noise to the driver from a wide range without obstructing the driver's viewing field, so as to support the driver in improving his/her vision. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
