PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition whose wet performance, rolling resistance and the change in hardness by temperature are well balanced. SOLUTION: In the tire tread rubber composition which is mixed with silica and carbon black as reinforcers, the mixed ratio of the silica to the carbon black is 5:95-95:5 (by weight) and the carbon black has the following characteristics: 35≤DBP absorption (cm<SP>3</SP>/100 g)<70, N<SB>2</SB>SA/IA≥1.10 and 6.0≤pH≤8.0.
