<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation promoting composition for ink jet textile printing, capable of preventing yellowing of nonimage area of pretreated fabrics in ink jet textile printing, to provide a set for ink jet textile printing, and to provide a method for ink jet textile printing. <P>SOLUTION: The fixation promoting composition comprises an alkaline chemical, a humectant and water and can be ejected from a printer head for ink jet printing. The textile printing set comprises a combination of the fixation promoting composition, a nonalkali pretreatment liquid and an ink composition for ink jet textile printing. The method for ink jet textile printing comprises treating the whole fabrics with the nonalkali pretreatment liquid and ejecting the fixation promoting composition and the ink composition for ink jet textile printing in optional order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
