PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas appliance and its fire extinguishing system capable of being installed at a low cost and automatically extinguishing a fire surely with a small amount of a fire extinguishing agent. SOLUTION: The fire extinguishing system for extinguishing a fire generated in the gas appliance comprises: a gas pipe 3 for supplying a gas to a gas range 1; a burner 2 for igniting the gas supplied by the gas pipe 3 in the gas range 1; a burner 2 provided on the gas range 1 for discharging the fire extinguishing agent supplied by a prescribed route; and a fire control panel 50 for starting the discharge of the fire extinguishing agent at the burner 2.
