Anti-theft protection system has several cameras (11-14), which are attached within or outside the motor vehicle, in order to take pictures, which show the situation for instance in the proximity of a driver's seat and in the outer surroundings of the vehicle. A control device (2) is connected with several cameras. The control device has a control unit (20), which is connected with a sensor (21), which determines whether the motor vehicle is in abnormal situation. The control unit is connected with an alarm unit (22), which can emit an alert signal. A video signal switching unit (30) is connected with the cameras and is controlled by the control unit. The video signal switching unit selects one of the pictures displayed by the cameras. A picture sending unit is connected with the video signal switching unit and with the control unit. The picture sending unit comprises an image processing unit (41) and a mobile telephone (42). The mobile telephone selects a number of a remote mobile telephone by means of the control command of control unit and sends the selected pictures to the remote mobile telephone.
