PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device for a tire and its installation method, capable of enhancing adhesive strength by an adhesive, by nipping the sufficient adhesive between the adhered surface of a case and the rim outer peripheral surface of a wheel. SOLUTION: This electronic device 11 for the tire has an electronic part 12 for transmitting tire information and the case 13 for storing the electronic part 12; and is stuck to the rim outer peripheral surface 3 of the wheel 2 by the adhesive 5; and is provided with a spacer 15 for keeping clearance between the adhered surface 14 of the case 13 and the rim outer peripheral surface 3 of the wheel 2.
