PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of securely cleaning a filter and having a good-looking filter cleaning device. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises an indoor unit having a main body in which a heat exchanger and an air fan blowing air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger into a room are stored. The filters 4A and 4B, the heat exchanger, and the air fan are installed in an air flow passage connecting a suction port to a discharge port formed in the body. A dust collecting part 113 removing and collecting dust on the filters 4A and 4B and a dust discharge fan part communicating with the dust collecting part 113 are formed in the body. Also, the dust collecting part 113 comprises a closing member 123 having an opening part 117 communicating with the outside and closing closing the opening part 117 when the dust is discharged.
