PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which can adjust deviation in a main scanning direction when a plurality of light sources are employed for light exposure. SOLUTION: The image formation device is comprised of a control section, a computing section, and a pixel clock generating section. The control section controls light emission from the plurality of light sources such that laser beams are emitted from the alternately different light sources to scan surfaces of a polygon mirror, and that each surface of the polygon mirror rotating a plurality of times is scanned by laser beams emitted from the alternately different light sources at every rotation. The computing section obtains a difference between intervals of index signals generated by scanning on each surface of the polygon mirror rotating a plurality of times during calibration operation, calculates a deviation of the interval of the index signals on each surface, averages the deviation of the interval of the index signals for each surface, and further calculates the deviation of the plurality of light sources in the main scanning direction. The pixel clock generating section generates pixel clocks as references for use when image data is supplied to the plurality of light sources, and adjusts at least one of the pixel clocks depending on the deviation in the main scanning direction.
