PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmitting method for an elevator device to transmit signals concerning the safety of elevator and signals concerning the control of the elevator. SOLUTION: Conditional signals concerning the safety of the elevator are emitted at certain intervals from a safety sensor terminal fed with the conditional signals concerning the safety of the elevator sensed by a signal sensing means, and from a control sensor terminal fed with the conditional signals concerning the control of the elevator sensed by another signal sensing means, the conditional signals concerning the control of the elevator are emitted at the specified intervals different from the intervals of the first named conditional signals for safety, and these two sorts of conditional signals are transmitted as serial data via a common communication path.
