PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polishing body, which is used for producing wash-free rice by removing brun adhering on the surface of polished rice through polishing, facilitating maintenance executed when a component part is replaced or a similar work is done for the reason of wear of the component part or the like. SOLUTION: A wash-free rice producing apparatus is provided with the polishing body for removing bran on the surface of polished rice by polishing the polished rice with a polishing surface 53b and a drive shaft 54 for rotatively driving the polishing body. In the apparatus, the polishing body comprises multiple stage polishing blocks 53a. Non-polishing surfaces inside the polishing blocks are provided with a plurality of parallel through holes, and the drive shaft and a connection shaft for connecting the multiple stage blocks are removably installed in the through holes.
