PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline composition an unpleasant odor of which is reduced and which is totally improved in odor especially by removing methylmercaptan and ethylmercaptan showing an unpleasant sharp smell to an extremely trace amount, and by regulating a content of carbon disulfide with a respective strong odor or a content of the other sulfur compounds. SOLUTION: The gasoline composition contains the total sulfur contents of≤10 mass ppm, the sulfur content of≤0.04 mass ppm in methylmercaptan and ethylmercaptan, the sulfur contents of≤1.0 mass ppm in propylmercaptan, the sulfur contents of≤0.4 mass ppm in carbon disulfide, and shows an odor index (OI) represented by formula (1) of≥8, a reserch octane number of≥90 and also Reid vapor pressure of≤90 kPa. Wherein OI=¾3×Log<SB>10</SB>(MM)+2×Log<SB>10</SB>(EM)+Log<SB>10</SB>(PM)+0.5×Log<SB>10</SB>(CD)+0.1×Log<SB>10</SB>(TS-MM-EM-PM-CD)¾: formula (1). (In the formula, MM shows sulfur contents in methylmercaptan, EM is sulfur contents in ethylmercaptan, PM is a sulfur contents in propylmercaptan, CD is a sulfur contents in carbon disulfide, TS shows a total sulfur content and the sulfur contents means reduced mass ppm to sulfur).
