The system has a transceiver, arranged in all tires of a motor vehicle, communicating with one of the low frequency antennas (1-4) integrated on a wheel casing of the vehicle. The antennas simultaneously transmit and exchange tire characteristics information with another radio-based information system in the vehicle, where the information system is a motor vehicle door closing system or motor vehicle start system.
