PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level detector of a structure preventing a liquid level from being not precisely detected because of a caught rotary arm. SOLUTION: A float 8 is moved vertically along with a guide 9 in accompaniment to a change of the liquid level, by constituting the rotary arm 4 to slide in a groove part 3f of a magnet holder 3. The groove part 3f is constituted of a protrusion part 3e formed in the magnet holder 3, and a tapered face is provided in the groove part 3f of the magnet holder 3. A bent part 4a is formed further in an end part of a side opposite to a side held with the float 8 out of the rotary arm 4. By this constitution, the rotary arm 4 is guided along the groove part 3f even when an inclination is generated in the rotary arm 4 by the tapered face 3g, and a caught state in the tapered face 3g is eliminated by forming the end part of the rotary arm 4 into a round shape by the bent part 4a.
