<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and a display position control program by which an image is displayed at a legible position for a user. <P>SOLUTION: A display part (display screen) 32 which displays the image is provided on the whole surface of an image display table 12. A touch panel 52 is arranged on the display part 32 and each user can perform operations of the image by touching the image displayed on the display part 32 with a finger or a stylus pen, etc. An input/output part 34 is a block for performing input/output of the image and voice. An infrared sensor 60 is arranged on the side or a leg part of the image display table 12, etc. and detects positions of the users of the image display table 12. An IC tag reader 62 reads identification information of an article from an IC tag 66 attached to an article 64 and when the article 64 is placed on a display screen on the surface of the table, detects its position.
