<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with high contact reliability which ensures connection even for an FPC with a connection pad on either of top and bottom faces of one end, and is easy in use, manufacturing, and assembling. <P>SOLUTION: The connector pressure-welds a first active contact point 33a of a contactor 30 held in a housing 20 to the tip 72 of a flexible printed board 70 and electrically connects them by inserting the tip 72 of the flexible printed board 70 into the housing 20 and operating an operation lever 60. In particular, the tip 72 of the flexible printed board 70 is sandwiched by a passive contact point 34a protrusively formed at the contactor 30 and the first active contact point 33a that is formed so as to oppose the passive contact point 34a and energized toward the passive contact point 34a side, thus establishing the electrical connection between the first active point and the tip of the flexible printed board. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
