PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe agent for precipitating lees, capable of rapidly coagulating proteins and turbidity in an alcoholic beverage without affecting quality of the alcoholic beverage in a step for precipitating the lees of the alcoholic beverage.

SOLUTION: The agent for precipitating the lees contains a rice bran protein. The invention is completed by discovering that the problems are solved by containing a solvent extract of the rice bran containing the rice bran protein.
