发明名称 METHOD FOR REMOVING INORGANIC MATTER FROM UNAGGREGATED SPHERICAL ETHYLENIC POLYMER FINE PARTICLE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing inorganic matter from ultrahigh-molecular weight spherical polyethylene fine particles that have a very small particle size, cause no fine particle aggregation, have a very narrow grain size distribution and are suitably employable in various functional material applications. SOLUTION: The method for removing inorganic matter contained in the polymer fine particles comprises bringing the ethylenic polymer fine particles, that have (A) an intrinsic viscosity [η] within the range of 6-50 dl/g as measured in decalin at 135°C, (B) a median size (d<SB>50</SB>) of at most 100μm as measured by the laser diffraction scattering method and (C) a deviation coefficient (Cv) of the median size of at most 20%, into contact with a mixed solution of a 2-10C alcohol and a chelate compound.
