PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded computer system and its application setting information storage method wherein an application can normally run even if write frequency to a storage area of the application setting information is limited. SOLUTION: The embedded computer system having the storage area 2 having a limit of write frequency in a computer 1 and being connected with an external storage apparatus 3 is provided with: an external storage apparatus determination means 4 for determining whether the external storage apparatus 3 is writable or not, and an application setting information storage area selection means 5 for selecting the storage area 2 having the limit of write frequency or the external storage apparatus 3 as an area for storing the application setting information such as information of a screen size of the application running on the computer 1 or information of a communication protocol.
