PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control apparatus capable of conveniently modifying an operating state of equipment to be controlled. SOLUTION: Command data 142 are stored in a storage unit 14 beforehand and timer data 143 to which a prescribed time interval or time is set, are set to a timer 102A or a timer 102B in advance. Furthermore, each time the lapse of the time interval or the arrival of the time is notified by the timer 102, a CPU 101 reads the command data 142 corresponding to the timer data 143 from the storage unit 14 and transmits them to corresponding equipment to be controlled. An operating state of the equipment to be controlled can be controlled without modifying the equipment itself.
