PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking stove burner capable of changing and adjusting supply of secondary air in response to a state of whether or not there is a pot on a trivet. SOLUTION: In the cooking stove burner, air in a fan case 4 is sucked into a combustion tube 23 as primary air by fuel gas jetted from a fuel nozzle 7, and an air-fuel mixture is burned in flame holes 212. The secondary air sucked upward through a center opening 21 of a burner head 21 is supplied to combustion flame R by changing its flow more to an outer circumference side than a burner cap 22. When a pot is placed on the trivet 6, its weight is transmitted as downward actuating force to a shielding member 81 via an operation member 83 and a second spring 84, a first spring 82 is deformed, the shielding member is pressed against a top face opening 213 to block it, and supply of the secondary air is stopped. When the pot is removed, the top face opening is opened by elastic restoring force, and the supply of the secondary air is resumed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
