PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time of communication between a data collector 2 and each of data transmitters rather than a conventional communication time in a data collection system 3 comprising the data collector 2 and a plurality of data transmitters 1 each repeating data transmission processing to the data collector 2. SOLUTION: In the data collection system 3 according to the present invention, each of the data transmitters 1 judges whether or not any other data transmitter other than the present data transmitter is under communicating with the data collector 2 before executing data transmission processing and if the other data transmitter is under communicating with the data collector 2, data transmission processing is executed after the end of the communication.
