PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting control device of an occupant crash protection device capable of surely starting various kind combinations of occupant crash protection devices against various kinds of collision forms without delay. SOLUTION: This starting control device 10 is applied to a vehicle mounted with the plurality of occupant crash protection devices. The control device 10 is provided with a first control part 20 for detecting various kinds of vehicle states in which the plurality of occupant crash protection devices are expected to be started and transmitting a vehicle state signal showing the detected vehicle state to a second control part 40 via a communication line 50, and the second control part 40 for starting each occupant crash protection device belonging to a specified occupant crash protection device group in conformity with a given rule for establishing the occupant crash protection device group to be started in relation to the various kinds of vehicle states according to the vehicle state shown by the vehicle state signal received from the first control part 20.
