PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler system which eliminates anxiety about water leakage on the ceiling side and dew condensation and has no risks of sprinkling water inside a room due to damage to a sprinkler head and a malfunction due to freezing. SOLUTION: The sprinkler system comprises a solenoid valve 7 provided on the upstream side of sprinkler piping 3 connected to a water pipe 2, is constituted to keep the solenoid valve 7 closed to halt water supply to the sprinkler piping 3 at a normal time without a fire by a control board 9 and to allow the water supply to the sprinkler piping 3 by opening the solenoid valve 7 based on signals from a sensing instrument 8 at the time of the fire, and keeps the sprinkler piping 3 as air piping without water in a part of the region on the side of the ceiling 14 at the normal time without a fire.
