<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized type solar cell in which handling property is high and productivity is high. <P>SOLUTION: This is the solar cell in which a positive electrode sheet and a negative electrode sheet in which a dye-sensitized semiconductor layer is formed on a transparent conductive base body are pasted at its peripheral part, and an electrolytic solution is filled into a gap at the center part of the positive electrode sheet and the negative electrode sheet.
