PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating support further firmly fixable to a ceramic member with a screw without breaking the ceramic member even when it is firmly screwed to the ceramic member. SOLUTION: The insulating support comprises a ceramics-made insulating column 1 of which both end surfaces have a metallized layer, metal conjugation members 3 that are soldered with both end surfaces of the insulating column 1 and have a flat screw receiving section 3a projected to the other end surfaces on the opposite side to the soldering surface, and electrode members 2 that have a through hole 2a for screw insertion that penetrates between both main surfaces and into which the screw receiving section 3a is inserted and are fixed to the metal conjugation members 3 via screws 4 so that one main surface is butted on the other end surface of each metal conjugation member 3.
