A protruding section (31, 41) facing a drive pinion shaft (9) is integrally provided on a spacer (25, 27) interposed between an inner race (13a) of a pilot bearing (13) and an inner race (15a) of a tapered roller bearing (15) at an inner section opposite to the drive pinion shaft. <??>The protruding section (31, 41) is curved so as to be convex along the overall central axial direction of the spacer (25, 27)and is arch shaped in cross section.
