PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position-information renewal noticing method and a mobile communication apparatus to make an effective use of a radio frequency resource by reducing a transmission of a position-information responding message from other mobile communication apparatus as few as possible, even when the mobile communication apparatus desires to continuously acquire the position information or the like of the other mobile communication apparatus. SOLUTION: The method has a first step and a second step. In the first step, a first mobile communication apparatus transmits a position-information requesting message including a renewal interval timeΔt and a predictive position range information after theΔt time has passed to a second mobile communication apparatus. In the second step, a second mobile communication apparatus judges whether a present position information L (t+Δt) of the second mobile communication apparatus is included in the predictive position range information after the renewal interval timeΔt has passed or not, and transmits the position information responding message to the first mobile communication apparatus when it is not included.
