PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article carrying-out device of a vending machine improved in such a manner that a stable article carrying-out operation can be secured regardless of curvature of sheet-like articles, such as postcards, piled and stored in a storage box. SOLUTION: In the article carrying-out device, many articles piled and stored in the storage box are interposed between a feed roller disposed on the upper face side of the articles and an article base used as a pressing member, which is disposed on the lower face side of the articles and is energized upward by a spring, and the articles are fed and discharged forward one by one by driving of the feed roller, and a switch actuator linked to the article base is provided, and such a configuration is given that a micro switch for near end detection, which detects that the quantity of articles in the storage box has reached a prescribed residual quantity, is opened/closed through the switch actuator by rising/falling movement of the article base.
