<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify a failure site based on monitoring information of a device. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency deriving part 152 registers, upon occurrence of an error code or alarm code, a category number corresponding to the code as failure candidate to a management table 166. After the lapse of a fixed period from the first registration on and after release of the previous failure candidate registration, this registration is released from the management table 166. When the frequency deriving part 152 registers again the same category number as failure candidate on the occurrence of error code or alarm code within this period, a diagnostic part 154 diagnoses the occurrence of failure in a site corresponding to the category number, specifies this site as a failure site, and gives an alarm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
