PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that only a parallel shift amount can be obtained as image deviation in an image pickup device where blurring at the time of photographing is corrected by electronically correcting deviation of an image between a plurality of pictures photographed by an image pickup element. SOLUTION: The image pickup device is provided with the image pickup element 1 photographing the image and converting it into electronic image data, a storage device 2 storing image data, a plurality of detection object regions 3 and 14 installed in image data, a parallel shift detection means 4 detecting the parallel shift amount of the image in a detection object region, an image deviation detection means 5 detecting deviation of the image between a plurality of pictures from output of the parallel shift detecting means and a correcting means 6 correcting deviation of the image between a plurality of pictures based on a result of the image deviation detection means. Thus, the image pickup device where parallel shift and rotation shift between the images of a plurality of screens are highly precisely detected at high speed and there is no influence of blurring can be supplied.
