PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outward projecting window capable of efficiently taking in an external wind in consideration of the direction of the wind. SOLUTION: This outward projecting window comprises rails 1 disposed on the upper and lower sides of a sash, a slide-out member 2 movable on the rails 1 to the center part of the window, a pin projectedly installed on the slide-out member 2, an operation handle 4 fixed to the base part of the slide-out member 2, and a support arm 5 held, at its one end, on the slide-out member 2 and pivotally supported, at its other end, on the sash.
